Hello

Hello!  My name is Nick, and I am The Mental Health Youth Worker, an accredited registered Youth Worker, with National Youth Agency (see certificate here).

As well as this, I'm a runner, a punk, an Angry Little Welshman (sometimes), a musician, a son, a father,  lover, a fighter and an expert by experience with mental health problems, clinical depression and general anxiety disorder, and recently (2025), diagnosed with ADHD.

Originally from Swansea, South Wales, I fell into youth work by accident after struggling at college.  After a few years in this field, i again, positively this time, stumbled into the field of youth mental health in 2007 and become passionate about the imortance of preventative and awareness work needed to help young people in this field.

From that point on my passion became supporting and empowering young people to understand and manage their mental health, breaking down stigma's and giving young people a voice in their mental health.

Professionally, I have been involved in may projects over the years, involving early intervention work, anger management,  youth participation and co-production, campaigns, public speaking and more.

If interested in having me work with you and/or the young people you work with, then get in touch.

Stay healthy, mentally.
